Set in the cathedral city of Wells, just south of the mendip hills, The Globe Inn is a traditional 300+ year old family run pub. Known for its craft ales, homemade food and cosy atmosphere, The Globe Inn is the perfect place to stop off for lunch, an evening meal or to host your own party in our spacious function room. All ingredients are locally sourced from George's Garden and RD Johns. Our Ales are also from local business' like Cheddar Ales. So if you are in wells or close by, why not come in and visit our friendly team.
We are well known for our home cooked traditional Sunday roast.
We always have a great selection of locally sourced craft ales.

Came in on Sunday for Lunch with my mother. I’m a vegetarian and we’re both dairy intolerant. The pub took all of this in their stride and made the most wonderful nut roast for me and a beautiful dairy-free cauliflower cheese to accompany our Sunday Lunch!
Amazing selection of local real ales, and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back again soon!

Staying in the area for a few days and wishing to try different places to eat, after reading the reviews for the Globe we thought we would give it a try.
We were not disappointed as we were greeted promptly as we walked through the door and led to our table immediately.
Good range of pub food available and everything was cooked to our satisfaction.
Dan, the landlord, was extremely friendly and efficient.
After the meal we even joined in their fortnightly bingo session with the locals and again made very welcome.
We would highly recommend this pub.
